I use gmail and last night I found a new feature had popped up in my inbox. It allows me to select messages as "priority" messages. I am guessing this is like having a "not really spam, but i dont need to read it" option in gmail.

Spam is marked as spam....even though I rarely see spam in my inbox.

Important (priority) emails are marked as priority using the new feature.

Not spam and not priority emails are marked as regular emails so they are not put in the spam folder, but not at the top of my list to read.

    Here is a video:

This was added to my account also. I used it for a minute and then realized that I liked the standard gmail inbox better. The only thing I really wish they would add to gmal is folders instead of that tagging stuff they use. I get zero spam in my gmail inbox, so I am not moving my email anytime soon.

I didn't use it at first either but after trying MIUI (custom Android ROM) - which has the option to show notifications only for Priority Inbox - I fell in love with it. I had email notifications turned off before because of the phone beeping all day long but now I can actually bother to pick it up when I get a notification!
