The feature I'm missing the most from fb is events. I'd love to see some kind of events manager that would allow users to create events, specifying a when and where and description and a link to a site about it, and then other users can specify if they will or won't be or might be attending. Maybe people should be able to post photos or other media captured at the event to the event's post on Diaspora.
